The induction to the “M” Cadet program, for which MBBS students in their fourth or final year can apply, has been announced by the Pakistani Army. Until the MBBS program is finished, a M Cadet continues his studies at the medical college where he is enrolled. The Pakistan Army Act, 1952, as well as any laws, regulations, and directives, still apply to the cadet. Selected M Cadets would earn a monthly salary of PKR 18,583. Medical Cadets will be eligible to receive a maximum of 222,996 year after being commissioned into the Army to cover their educational costs. So, for the full five years of their MBBS degree, students can collect up to 1,114,980.

22*, weeks Following MBBS and induction as a Short Service Regular Commission (SSRC) officer by GHQ PA Directorate, Basic Military Training (BMT) is made available at Army Medical Corps School & Centre Abbottabad within one month. Beginning on July 11, registration will go through August 19, 2022. AMC will commission the “M” Cadet once his medical education is successfully completed and all other conditions of the Scheme have been met.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the 2021 Pak Army M Cadet Course

Qualification: Fourth- or final-year MBBS student at any medical school accredited by PM&DC

Age (20 to 26 years old as of 10 July 2022)

Men’s gender

Relationship Status: Single

Nationality: Gilgit-Baltistan resident who is also a citizen of Pakistan. Candidates holding dual citizenship would be required to give up their other nations after final selection.

Height requirement: 5’4″ or (162.5 cm)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Ineligible candidates include those who:

deemed permanently UNFIT by the Appeal Medical Board.

medically deemed unfit owing to hepatitis B and C (AMB cannot be requested).

Unless they have been approved by the Appeal Medical Board, any Armed Forces Hospital has declared them unfit.

withdrawn for any reason from any military academy or training facility.

Discipline-related reasons for withdrawal from any bonded Armed Forces college or institution.

Debarred from all governmental services, including the armed forces.

a legal conviction for a crime involving moral turpitude.

ISSB twice rejected candidates.

thrice rejected by GHQ, AHQ, and NHQ selection boards for’ Cadets.

The candidacy of any applicant who falsifies academic credentials or withholds information in order to obtain an unfair advantage will be revoked, and they will be permanently disqualified from consideration for any sort of commission in the Armed Forces.

Additionally, candidates can sign up via www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk The individual should have an e-mail account because the date and time of the exam will be announced online. On a computerized roll no slip, candidates will report at the precise time and date specified for the preliminary exams. Once supplied, a date cannot be modified. Candidates will bring the paperwork listed in paragraph 4 with them. In order to register and take the test, candidates must have a working understanding of computers.

Schedule for Registration and Initial Exams:

The Preliminary Test and registration will be place in accordance with the following schedule:

20–24 August 2022 for preliminary exams, including the intelligence test

Physical Exam:

Run for 1.6 km in 8 1/2 minutes

Push-ups: fifteen reps in two minutes.

15 sets of sit-ups in 2 minutes.

Three chin-ups in two minutes.

Initial medical examination:

first medical examination at AS&RCs.

FORMATS NEEDED AT AS&RCs

2 copies of educational credentials that have been authenticated.

Computerized National Identity Card or NADRA Form “B” in two verified photocopies.

4 authenticated passport-size photos.

Candidates must submit a pay order for Rs. 500 with the note “Payable at any Branch in Pakistan” clearly written on it in the direction of the Surgeon General/DGMS (IS), Medical Directorate/DMS-1, GHQ Rawalpindi.

ADDITIONAL SELECTION

Through the website and a call-up letter, shortlisted candidates will be notified that the GHQ Selection Board would be conducting an intelligence/personality exam and interviews at their nearby stations. Candidates who are chosen for the final interview will have their medical fitness evaluated at the closest CMH. The candidate’s overall performance will be taken into consideration when making the final decision at GHQ.
