The Regulation Wing of the Finance Department of the Government of KPk published a Notification Pension Increase KPK 2024 15% of Net Pension. This pension rise will take effect on July 2024, and will last until further instructions. All retirees in the province of KPK will get an increase in pension starting on July 2024, at a rate of 15% of their net pension. This increase in pension will also be given to retirees who begin their retirement on or after July  2024.

Clarification of the End of Pension Increase

The federal government announced a 15% pension hike, however, the state of Sindh only announced a 5% rise in pensions for 2024.

We are still waiting for information from the Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa about the decision to stop increasing pensions in previous years. There was no explanation provided in this letter regarding this. The KPK Government also merged as the KP Government revised the basic pay scales for 2024 KPK and several allowances. In this way, the Federal Government likewise ceased to exist during various years of pension growth. There is a likelihood that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa would also write a letter to stop these hikes. If not, leave encashment, commutation/gratuity, and the pension amount will all be roughly 1.5 times more.
