The Punjab Education Sector has recently announced the Punjab Schools Unified Exam Date Sheet 2024 on December 4, 2024. All government schools, which make up approximately 48,000 schools in the province, will begin conducting their mid-term exams simultaneously from December 7, 2024. The School Education Department has issued a uniform date sheet for the exams, which will conclude on December 15. The Punjab Examination Commission will be responsible for conducting these exams, and the results will be announced on December 16. Following the exams, winter vacations will start on December 17.

2. Schools shall remain open, and there shall be no scheduled holiday when there is no assessment.
3. Schools have the flexibility to generate question papers for all subjects in either English or Urdu, except for English and Urdu subjects.
4. Schools will generate OR-coded question papers by accessing the Item Bank System (IBS). The OR code contains comprehensive school information, including the EMIS code, which can be scanned by monitors using the OR Code Scanning Application.
5. Each system-generated paper for a subject will consist of one leaf comprising of 50 marks (ten MCQs and three CRQs except Tadrees-e-Quran Majeed).
