The current flooding in Pakistan has caused a delay in PMC MDCAT 2024. A revised schedule has been released by the Pakistan Medical Commission for the MDCAT 2024 examination. In response to a “national emergency” declared in 72 Districts of Pakistan due to flooding, the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination (M/o NHSR&C), the Government of Pakistan, has instructed National Medical Authority (NMA) to postpone MDCAT 2024 via Letter No.F.No.1-3/2020-PMC/NHSRC (Genera) Misc) dated August 30, 2024.

In accordance with the aforementioned instructions from M/o NHSR&C, requests for the MDCAT to be postponed from the health departments of the governments of Sindh and Baluchistan, as well as reports from the NDMA and PDMA regarding the harm caused to road links, communication, and infrastructure in the affected areas of Sindh, Baluchistan, Southern Punjab, and KPK by the affected parties, the National Medical Authority (NMA) has assessed the MDCAT designated Examination Centers in

In addition, the National Medical Authority (NMA) has received inquiries from MDCAT 2024 registered candidates based in non-flood affected areas regarding their examination schedule as per the announced examination dates in the month of September 2024, which has been described as hot and humid across the nation by the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Due to the aforementioned reasons and on the Mk NHSR&C’s instructions, the following schedule, MDCAT 2024 New Schedule, has been implemented instead.
