22*, weeks Following MBBS and induction as a Short Service Regular Commission (SSRC) officer by GHQ PA Directorate, Basic Military Training (BMT) is made available at Army Medical Corps School & Centre Abbottabad within one month. Beginning on July 11, registration will go through August 19, 2024. AMC will commission the “M” Cadet once his medical education is completed and all other conditions of the Scheme have been met.

Eligibility Criteria
Ineligible candidates include those who:
deemed permanently UNFIT by the Appeal Medical Board.
medically deemed unfit owing to hepatitis B and C (AMB cannot be requested).
Unless they have been approved by the Appeal Medical Board, any Armed Forces Hospital has declared them unfit.
withdrawn for any reason from any military academy or training facility.
Discipline-related reasons for withdrawal from any bonded Armed Forces college or institution.
Debarred from all governmental services, including the armed forces.
a legal conviction for a crime involving moral turpitude.
ISSB twice rejected candidates.
thrice rejected by GHQ, AHQ, and NHQ selection boards for’ Cadets.
The candidacy of any applicant who falsifies academic credentials or withholds information to obtain an unfair advantage will be revoked, and they will be permanently disqualified from consideration for any sort of commission in the Armed Forces.

On a computerized roll no slip, candidates will report at the precise time and date specified for the preliminary exams. Once supplied, a date cannot be modified. The Preliminary Test and registration will be placed by the following schedule:

Physical Exam:
Run for 1.6 km in 8 1/2 minutes
Push-ups: fifteen reps in two minutes.

Additional Information
Through the website and a call-up letter, shortlisted candidates will be notified that the GHQ Selection Board would be conducting an intelligence/personality exam and interviews at their nearby stations. Candidates who are chosen for the final interview will have their medical fitness evaluated at the closest CMH. The candidate’s overall performance will be taken into consideration when making the final decision at GHQ.
