Sindh Announces Public Holiday on 25th December 2024

The government of Sindh has issued a notification on Monday, declaring December 25, 2024, as a public holiday on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day. On this day, all government officers, corporations, local councils, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, and entities under the government’s administrative control will be closed, except for essential services.

Sindh Announces Public Holiday for Both Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day

The Sindh government’s Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has declared a holiday for all offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the government. The purpose of this announcement is to allow individuals to celebrate these important occasions with their loved ones and communities.

Clear About Holiday Dates

However, it’s worth noting that December 26th has not been declared a public holiday for Christians, despite some local media outlets reporting otherwise. The government has clarified that the holiday applies to all non-essential personnel and groups.
