Only the institute’s status is acknowledged by HEC. However, the agencies responsible for professional certification examine the qualifications for professional degrees. These include the Pakistan Medical and Dental Commission. Before being admitted, students must confirm that a certain degree program offered by a school has been approved by the necessary accrediting body.
