Function of Vitamin C: 

  1. Helps in healing process and increases the body’s resistance to infection
  2. Important in formation of blood cell
  3. Plays part in bone and tissue growth and protects the skin of Human body
  4. All of these


While Vitamin C aids collagen formation (healing) and immune cell activity, it doesn’t directly form blood cells (Vitamin K/B12 do) or protect skin (Vitamin E). Megadoses (>2g/day) may cause kidney stones. So the function of Vitamin C is to improve immunity.
