The national anthem of Pakistan, “Qaumi Tarana,” was officially adopted in August 1954. The music for the anthem was composed by Ahmed Ghulamali Chagla in 1949. However, it wasn’t until August 1954 that the words written by Hafeez Jalandhari were officially adopted, and the complete anthem was formally recognized.
