The Sulah Hudaybiyyah (Hudaybiyyah Treaty 6 AH/628 CE) was a 10-year peace pact between Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Quraysh’s Suhayl ibn Amr. Though seemingly unfavorable (requiring Muslims to return that year), it enabled peaceful Dawah, leading to Islam’s rapid spread. The treaty collapsed when Quraysh allies attacked Banu Khuza’a, precipitating the Conquest of Mecca (8 AH).
