Khawaja Nazimuddin was a very important person in the early days of Pakistan. He held two prominent responsibilities in Pakistan’s initial administration: first, he served as the 2nd Governor-General of Pakistan, from 1948 to 1951. After completing his tenure as Governor General he was elected as the 2nd Prime Minister of Pakistan in 1951 and served till 1953. Khwaja Nazimuddin was one of the most popular figures Pakistan’s political landscape in its formative phase.
