The legendary sword Zulfiqar was gifted to Hazrat Ali (RA) during the Battle of Badr (2 AH/624 CE) after his heroic combat against Walid ibn Utba. Its distinctive double-pointed design became symbolic of divine justice. Historical sources like Kitab al-Aghani describe how the Prophet (ﷺ) received Zulfiqar as war booty and immediately bestowed it upon Ali (RA), marking him as Islam’s champion.
