Jihad is not limited to physical effort. “Jihad al-Mal” specifically refers to the struggle undertaken by spending one’s wealth for righteous causes. This can include charity, funding community projects, supporting education, or contributing to legitimate defense needs. It is considered a highly meritorious form of striving in the path of God.
